Seth “The Silverback” Petruzelli is an American professional mixed martial artist and former K-1 kickboxer. He is currently fighting for EliteXC.
Petruzelli started training martial arts at the age of 6 and continued on training through high school, where he also was a football player and wrestler.

Petruzelli was a member of the cast of The Ultimate Fighter 2 as a heavyweight. He was eliminated in the semi-finals by Brad Imes after having defeated Dan Christison by unanimous decision in an elimination bout.

On October 4, 2008, at EliteXC: Heat, he defeated Kimbo Slice in 14 seconds by TKO. He was offered the fight as a stand-in after Ken Shamrock received a cut over his left eye in pre-fight practice and was forced to back out.

Kimbo still maintains close ties with the company who now accompanies him, as his fight entourage before entering the ring. Rolling Stone called Slice “The King of the Web Brawlers”.

Kimbo Slice began training in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in 2004 under the instruction of Bas Rutten[1]. Kimbo Slice hired Bas Rutten to train and prepare for his Sean Gannon internet super-fight. Ferguson continued to train MMA with Bas Rutten for both his professional MMA bouts. Kimbo Slice walked away victorious from both MMA bouts; the first being against Ray Mercer, June 23, 2007 and the second against MMA veteran David “Tank” Abbott, February 16th, 2008.

One of Slice’s most notable fights was a controversial late 2004 encounter with Sean Gannon, a former Boston Police officer who trains in MMA.[3] Slice was defeated by Gannon (with accusations of use of illegal moves from either side) and, due to the popularity of the fight video, Gannon began fighting within the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

EliteXC: Heat was a mixed martial arts event held by EliteXC on October 4, 2008 in Sunrise, Florida at the Bank Atlantic Center.[1]

It was the third EliteXC show to be featured on CBS and marked the return of fighters Jake Shields, Gina Carano, and Kimbo Slice. A last minute injury to Ken Shamrock the day of the show pulled him out of the main event. Kimbo Slice opted to fight anyway against Seth Petruzelli, a light heavyweight originally scheduled to face Aaron Rosa on the undercard. In addition, the show included a co-promoted heavyweight bout with Affliction featuring former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei Arlovski facing the last and only reigning IFL Heavyweight Champion Roy Nelson.[2]

Mirko Filipović (born on September 10, 1974), often billed as Mirko Cro Cop, is a Croatian law enforcement officer turned kickboxer and mixed martial artist (MMA). He is also a former member (2003 - 2007) of Croatian Parliament. His nickname, short for “Croatian Cop”, comes from his membership in the Croatian police’s Anti-Terrorist Group ATJ Lučko.

Filipović has been successful in both K-1 and PRIDE Fighting Championships. On September 10, 2006, he won the PRIDE 2006 Open Weight Grand Prix, and in 2007 began fighting in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Filipović is famous for his left high kicks, with which he has knocked out many of his opponents.

Filipović started his professional career in 1996 as a kickboxer, following in the footsteps of his compatriot Branko Cikatić. From the 2007 highly anticipated DVD animated movie “Superman: Doomsday” comes the moment we’ve all been waiting for: The Death of Superman!

Even though the entire storyline on this movie has obviously been rushed, nonetheless the fight between Superman and Doomsday has impressed me…and it could’ve been BETTER if it was longer!

While many other users have uploaded the same file, I have included the entire fight in Metropolis, including Doomsday’s arrival, only omitting some scenes that tends to slow down the fight and at the same time, to meet the required length set by YouTube.

Winner of the International Critics’ Prize at the Toronto Film Festival,” “DEATH OF A PRESIDENT” is conceived as a fictional TV documentary broadcast in 2008, reflecting on another monstrously despicable and cataclysmic event: the assassination of President George W. Bush on October 19th, 2007. The “documentary” combines archival footage and carefully composed interviews, presented in a respectful and dignified manner. Exciting and questioning, it refashions the event into a riveting story.

The film opens with the ferocious energy of a Tarantino or Oliver Stone movie, as frenetically edited archival footage thrusts us into a raging crowd of protesters, waiting for President Bush’s procession. The President is portrayed as a sympathetic and likable man—beloved by those close to him and charming to his followers. As the President gives a patriotic speech inside a hotel, the demonstrators’ fury increases to the breaking point. The tension mounts until the horrible instant where the President is assassinated.

After the assassination, the film shifts into the style of a mystery, and follows the FBI’s hunt for the assassin. All the suspects are interviewed except one—the Syrian man who is convicted and put on death row. There is much circumstantial evidence against him. But is he guilty of the crime? Or does his being Middle Eastern provide a convenient excuse to label the death of the President as an Act of Terror?

Director Gabriel Range previously used the device of a “retrospective documentary” in his celebrated 2003 film “The Day Britain Stopped,” about a chain of events that led to a breakdown of the country’s transport system and nearly a hundred fatalities. Both of these films have been acclaimed for the technical virtuosity with which they combine archival footage and filmed scenes to create disturbingly real visions of catastrophes.

“Death of a President” was honored by The International Critics Prize Jury (FIPRESCI) at Toronto for “the audacity with which it distorts reality, to reveal a larger truth.”
