145 lbs.:Wagnney Fabiano vs. L.C Davis

Davis comes out looking to land some big punches but Fabiano immediately drops under them and gets a body lock. Davis defends well at first but eventually succumbs to a leg trip takedown. Fabiano passes his guard and moves to side mount, then full mount. Davis escapes during an armbar attempt and gets back to his feet, though is soon put down again.

Fabiano again moves to full mount and this time locks on an armbar that Davis cannot escape. He’s forced to tap near the end of the first round, as Fabiano’s submission skills continue to give opponents fits.

Wagnney Fabiano defeats L.C. Davis via submission (armbar) at 3:38 of round one. Fabiano is the IFL’s featherweight champion.

Featherweight fighter L.C. Davis seemed very eager for his title bout with Wagnney Fabiano, and his small contingent of fans only fueled that fire. While Fabiano looked more emaciated than usual after this cut to 145 pounds, he’ll still prove a tough customer once the bell rings.
