Time2flame, Many people dislike him because some people think he is like some champion or rock star when he really has done NOTHING but beat up a few TOTAL creampuff tomato cans on the street(& youtube) and 1 old retired boxer & 1 creampuff pansy of the year mma ‘fighter’, oh, & a 45 yr old Tank Abbot. dude anyone who knows how to fight and can recognize a great fighter would clearly SEE that Kimbo is a force sonn to be reckoned with. Mind you im sure you understand Ray Mercer was a world heavy weight champion. He should have been able to fend off Kimbo a little better. As for Bo Cantrel again not world class but still a tuff guy. Now yes a washed up Tank Abbott but all three guys were beat faster than most Tyson fights. Liddel dodged guys for years. Kimbo will do fine

Nuts, Mercer was SO far beyond his fighting days it wasn’t even funny. Still if Kimbo wouldve struck it out with Mercer I bet Mercer wouldVE likely beat him even in the poor shape he was in, However Kimbo went for the takedown and well, Mercer was a fighter, but not on the ground. If Kimbo woulda went toe 2 toe with him that woulda been AWESOME cause No ones whippin Mercer up in a standup, on the ground, thats another story. Kimbo is ok dude, & will prob be pretty good, but has a Long way 2 go.

I believe he was a hand picked low talent creampuff for Kimbo to beat down. Nothing wrong with that, it’s how it goes when you break into the sport. Boxings the same way.

Tank may have been past his prime, but Kimbo manhandled him, tank barely landed one solid punch, that fight was so one sided.

Is there something wrong with training Kimbo? His hard working, diligent and his a nice guy, his not arrogant, even after his fight against tank he considers himself to be a newbie into MMA with only 2 fights under his belt.
There are far worse ppl to train, and from what I understand from his interviews, Kimbo has an incredible work ethic, he does all his training and even exceeds them.

Dude ur so misunformed RAy mercer was a world heavy Boxing champion . outure is 40 so dont say mercer at 44 is way to old. Couture proves otherwise. Wait and see do you think Tyson fought the very best in his early career. NO never NO one does.They are building a fighter. And as it stands I doubt Couture Could have beat those guys any faster than KIMBo did. Both in less than a minute. Jealus that all peeps are of kimbo.

gotthenuts cuz Couture can perform at 40 means Mercer can at 44? WRONG. I watched Mercer all his career as a huge fan & the FACT is he faded BADLY long be4 now.Fighters ‘age’ at different ages. Tyson was better LATER In his career? R U HIGH??? WAAAAY Better earlier. AWESOME early on & sucked ass later. Have u SEEN any of his career? Mercer WAS good but SUCKS now. I’m VERY informed. U thought Tyson was better later on, LMAO!!! I’m HARDLY jealous of Kimbo, just want him 2 fight a REAL fighter.

Kin94285, trainers ALWAYS talk up thier fighters. I LOVE Bas but he will talk up ANYONE he trains, as will most any other trainer. I agree he did do well against tank.

I have Nothing against Kimbo & wish him the best actually, What I DO have a prob with is NEWB losers that think he is the greatest fighter since Sugar Robinson cuz he beat a few TOTAL losers on the street & a few washed up SORRY ass or washed up ‘mma’ fighters.
